The act is intended to ensure Canadians can take genetic tests to help identify health risks without fear they will be penalized when seeking life or health insurance.
So insurance rates will go up for everyone then since the insurance companies can't tell who has an identifiable disorder and who doesn't? They will have to distribute the unknown risk.
Sunnydays180 I will have to research why Jody Wilson-Raybould, then minister of justice opposed this law. It’s a complicated issue but from my viewpoint it’s the right thing to do, why should you be penalized for knowing your genetics.
