An 11-year big-league veteran, the first baseman played 79 regular-season games for the Dodgers in 2019 after being traded to L.A. mid-season in 2018. The 36-year-old was a ninth-round pick with the San Diego Padres. He earned his big-league promotion with thein 2009, helping them win the World Series in 2011. In addition to his NLCS and World Series MVP nominations, Freese earned an All-Star selection in 2012.
