Eviction notices delivered to two long-time encampments on the Manitoba legislature grounds

Eviction warnings have been given to two long-time encampments on the Manitoba legislature grounds.

But, the statement said, encampments are not permitted for the safety of staff, visitors, tourists and other protesters. It also bans setting fires, brandishing weapons, as well as depositing generators, firewood or other items to support an encampment. A second encampment popped up around June and includes a large teepee on the front lawn. It had previously been associated with nearby parked vehicles that had messages opposing COVID-19 public health restrictions posted on them.

Threatening flyers distributed throughout Vancouver tent encampment: policeVANCOUVER — Police are urging people living in a tent encampment in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside to be vigilant after someone distributed threatening flyers in the area over the weekend. Not surprising that there are threats of violence at this point. Given how long this issue has been incompetently handled, its amazing there hasnt been more people turning to violence from feeling utterly helpless. YVR council candidate Breen Ouellette will call you garbage for publishing this photo because the shooter likely didn’t ask for permission to photograph the pictured homeless.

Threatening flyers distributed throughout Vancouver tent encampment: policeVANCOUVER — Police are urging people living in a tent encampment in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to be vigilant after someone distributed threatening flyers… I personally believe the quackscenes are causing myocarditis, pericarditis, seizures, paralysis, miscarriages, stillbirths, a wide range of other symptoms, and even death. I believe those who have taken the quackscenes shed and spread to others. It is my opinion that those responsible for the quackscenes, quackscene passports, and other mandates should be arrested and tried for manslaughter and maybe even murder. Enough time has passed where it is now undeniable. The police set the tone. VancouverPD
