Taller said it's not necessarily a bad time to travel, with people reporting that "beaches and hotels may be at 30 per cent or 40 per cent of the potential occupancy."With off-season rates and nearly deserted tourist locales potentially continuing for another six months to a year, Taller said it's understandable travelers may feel they can't deny themselves any longer — but with COVID-19, there are a lot more logistics to consider than there used to be.

"Things are much more stable when you leave, but when you come home, things have changed and you want to make sure that you have access to the most current information," he said. To enter Canada, air passengers must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure. If a traveller tests positive, they"Pick a destination [where] you can comfortably and easily get your testing done to be able to return home," Taller advised.because so many crew members have contracted COVID-19 or are in isolation.

"But the question is — if God forbid you should become ill — do you require or should you have travel insurance?" Another consideration is what constitutes a valid reason for trip cancellation. Some Ottawa travellers have found that while they were covered if they contracted COVID-19, their cancellation insurance didn't kick in when they chose to follow government advice and pre-emptively call off their plans.

How could anyone take advice from fucking criminal scum like these people. I know I will be banned for this but guess what, I don’t give one fuck. I have no affiliation with Twitter and don’t give a shit about their bullshit rules.

Just travelled to Istanbul without a PCR test! Research countries that do no require a PCR test on arrival and go there. Don't be afraid of travelling!

This worked about 20 months ago. Try to find better ways to f*** with ppl minds

Make sure you have access to money to cover an extra 11 days at the hotel/food and hope your boss doesn't fire you. Add that to the initial costs and you're potentially paying for 2 vacays, how many people can afford that? FAFO and no bitching when your plans literally go South.

Repeal the PCR return test now!

⚠️The Timeline of COVID-19⚠️ MUST WATCH‼️ Does experimental vaccines work with Covid ?! Only truth can end the pandemic ! CCPLiedPeopleDied CCP≠CHINESE CCPVirus

I don’t travel outside Canada these days unless it’s for business. My employer has agreed to pay all costs associated with pandemic travel issues like foreign quarantine, medical treatment and PCR tests.

And no Hospital room at their destination.

If only they had 2 years if instructions to not travel because we're in a pandemic.

I think it’s more like they should think about relocating. Staying home is dangerous.

Your choice your decision you're on your own Bye bye 👋

most will contact media and whine about being stranded and how rule are unfair and JT is being mean and unfair..

As bad as healthcare is in Canada Canadians would be better off being sick in several other countries. Sobering and true.

Tell your viewers that ZERO of YOUR STAFF will be travelling out of country for ANY sort of winter getaway. DOUBT that you can be truthful....TheNational CTVNews globeandmail

Agreed 👍 Experts say best advice is to stay home and starve.
