Anti-lockdown groups that oppose new mandatory mask bylaws have started producing plastic “face mask medical exemption” cards to avoid wearing a mask in closed public spaces.
A spokesperson for the commission told CTVNews.ca that "these cards are fake" and in no way authorized by the organization. "We received a lot of emails requesting us to educate people about the rules and regulations behind these bylaws," Anderson told CTVNews.ca via email. "There are elderly people and others who can't speak English, and are unable to articulate the exemption rule to the staff and security at the front of these stores. That’s why we made the cards."
It should also be noted there are NO REAL exemption cards.
If Health Units put rules in when cases were still rising & not when recoveries outweigh new infections people probably would have been more trusting. Mask issue has quickly become the next thing Covid Karen can righteously report, shame people for & hide behind the mask to do it
