Like Greta Thunberg, James Levelle thought he’d go to the UN climate change conference by boat. Just one problem

We’ve all been there: you’re most of the way through a pretty arduous journey – perhaps on the way to a meeting, a party, or something you feel indebted to make – when you receive an ominous call from the host. “Very sorry,” they might say, “but we’ve had a bit of an emergency and we’re going to have to cancel. Please tell me you haven’t set off yet?”

The goal posts may have moved, but I refuse to give up on the mission. There's too much at stake 🙏🏻.Will update with new plans for Chile once we have more news👊🏼💥! … https://t.co/HXJ8CuqPYA pic.twitter.com/1hCK5dKQrn Within hours, the UN announced that it was “exploring alternative hosting options”, and the next day, another venue was found. It was in Madrid. Thunberg appealed to her three million Twitter followers for help.

“After a while, it became really clear to me: the job’s not done. There were still quite a few events going on in Santiago that were relevant, so I knew that was where I should be. I said I would do something… and so I wanted to finish it.”

McKenzie: The Atlantic might be forgiving enough that it allows the Leafs to figure things outTSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie joins OverDrive in studio to discuss where the Leafs stand in the Atlantic, and whether the parity in the division could benefit Toronto as it adjusts to its new head coach. TSNBobMcKenzie Very unpredictable year for pretty much the entire league. Lots of long winning streaks, and some nasty losing streaks and both by teams not usually expected to have either, lol. Long way to go yet, still reason for hope. Just don't hope for anything Blues-like to happen again TSNBobMcKenzie I agree but only if they make a trade for a backup goalie, and another Dman. They can afford to lose Johnson, with Hutches pay that's around 4mil.Way too tight to the cap!

Will the oppo members please stop acting like they are still in the election debates. 🙄 Economy gets JustinTrudeau an 'F' for epic fail. Health rates an 'F' for fatally flawed & ClimateChange gets & 'F' for outright fraud.
