About two dozen people staged a quiet demonstration in front of the New Brunswick legislature Saturday, accusing the province of violating the Canada Health Act.
The government has repeatedly defended its position, saying it provides access to abortion services at the Moncton Hospital, Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton and the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.
Maybe the doctor got fed up with seeing the same patients every 9 months, keeping yr legs closed will keep the storm out of the air, if yr a rape victim i can see the complaint as true to complain.
I suspect there are not many doctors lined up to take on this practice.
Clinic 554 is a GP private practice that also offers abortion, not a 'private abortion clinic'
This is the slide towards women having less and less choice about managing their own bodies. Access to medical and surgical abortions is a right all women deserve.
Stop with the lazy reporting. To clarfiy, this is NOT a 'private clinic'. That is part of the narrative the NB gov't is using to justify it's position. Clinic 554 is a family practice that also offers specialized healthcare not found in most other family practices.
the question : does the province provide abortion services ? and does not make obstacles when requests are submitted ?
It's done in a clinic outside a hospital. Sounds a little dangerous. Would you have the necessary equipment or extra people in an emergency if needed in a clinic? Just saying they might be lacking in medical supplies and personnel.
Nothing quite says 'I'm Canadian!' than demonstrating for your right to kill your unborn child at government expense. cdnpoli
Doctors leaving maritimes...that’s a steady stream.
