COVID\u002D19: B.C. health officials

“It’s not unexpected given where we are in the outbreak,” said Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s provincial health officer. “Everything we do now is really important to prevent transmission.”

Henry said they continue to test thousands of people with symptoms but there are no plans yet to conduct widespread testing of asymptomatic people. There are some exceptions, for example those who have come into contact with infected people at long term care homes.

Alberta confirms 67 new cases of COVID-19; 27 patients have recoveredAlberta has 67 more cases of COVID-19, but the province announced that 27 of the 486 total patients have recovered from the virus. CTV heads: why can’t all the 🇨🇦networks, tv and radio, broadcast MORE about the necessary precautions we all need to take during this crisis ? Run CHYRONs continuously on tv with simple messages? Radio messages top + bottom of every hour? PLEASE!! Recovery in ontario is still at 8 while BC has 173 recovered.. are recoveries in Ontario not being recorded or are there no recoveries here ? I wonder how they define the recovery ? Are those ppl be tested negative or just they feel ok now. Ontario announce that they will consider the ppl who feels ok as a recovery, and lift them from the isolation due to the shortage of test kits.
