A husband and wife who died in a hospital room of COVID-19 Thursday just three minutes apart are another reminder the pandemic is not over, especially in Ontario and Quebec, warns a Toronto doctor.

TORONTO -- A husband and wife died in a hospital room of COVID-19 Thursday just three minutes apart.

“There are so many of these situations that wouldn’t have been imaginable before the pandemic. I’m hearing from colleagues who are sharing stories of father and sons, aunts and uncles, grandmothers who are dying together.” “Those of us on the frontlines feel as though we are holding back a dam from breaking. And we are not confident that we have the reinforcements behind us or enough oversight or understanding about how much water is behind that dam.”that more needs to be done to control the virus in health-care settings, including hospitals, long-term care, retirement homes, clinics and public health units.

Active outbreaks have dropped over the last two weeks, but the coalition warns that may because “there is less public reporting now than there was in April through to early May.” The province has previously said loosening restrictions would come after a consistent decline in cases over a two- to four-week period.

After all the crowds protesting the unjust death of a convicted felon, Floyd, we will see a tremendous spike in COVID infections and deaths around the world...the authorities have lost control of this situation and potentially thousands will die and our hospitals be overwhelmed..

MSM is the real disease. NYC needs a new Bat signal.

they'll never let it be over. They'll never stop

Protests in the streets ignoring stay at home orders say different. Seems some lives matter more than others.

Big surprise, they won't publish their ages lmfao.

Yah, no, it's over

Yeah you posted this 3 days ago and no one cared, we still don't. The real virus has nothing to do with C19.

It’s over. Protests and riots will prove this

It's over, it's just you continue to follow the fake narrative. Look at Prime Minister JustinTrudeau. He's clearly indicated there is no need to worry about Covid19 anymore. Unless he's a liar!

Great advice from a very caring Dr 💛. My family hasn’t forgotten Covid19

Not in Toronto. Start treating the virus like you would pneumonia

The pandemic is over and these protests will prove it

I'm wondering if we'll see this same headline in the future about you 'news' agencies except the pandemic will be over and we'll be getting the much needed social and emotional goodness we need. Surprised you didn't spin this to be about race somehow.

Yes, it is. It was over the minute our “leaders” & “experts” began justifying & excusing the 1000s of people protesting in the streets a week after vilifying people gathering in a park the week before. Of course their ages are conveniently left out, for “privacy.”

Yes, it is. It was over the minute our “leaders” & “experts” began justifying & excusing the 1000s of people protesting in the streets after vilifying people as “dangerous” for gathering in a park the week before. Of course their ages are conveniently left out, for “privacy.”

How tf are we supposed to forget when we’re being reminded every 5 seconds?

Stuff your agenda already, we all know it's a plandemic that is failing miserably But a Toronto 'doctor' says hahahaha 😆

It's all over. I won't be taking any shit from cops ever again. Bylaw officers are going to hate their lives going forward.

naw its pretty much a free for all at this point. time to open businesses, the protests put an end to social distancing

Died with the virus or died because of the virus-our stats now show that everyone in the last three month died of the virus and no one died of other diseases which is very hard to believe-if the deaths were recorded properly the virus may not not appear that bad-think about it

But please protest all you want - we will crush a business trying to make a life but not a useless fucking protest!!! ( I say that because honesty they are- I am a supporter of the issues with Floyd but old enough to know the protests and riots don’t do shit.)

Why didn't the doctor or the article mention the ages of the couple, when did they actually become sick & did they delay receiving treatments. All these little details deliberating left out comes across as fear mongering. SharkawyMD

M still isolating but thousands are out in general streets. The isolation is over.

I wouldn’t let this quack diagnose my cat

If you would of ask me 3 months ago if I thought their was a conspiracy I would told you to go F% yourself. Now I'm a believer that the Goverment Big Parma and the Media are working hand in hand

Let's see 2 weeks ago he said that the consequences from Trinity Bellwoood would have a devastating impact on our hospitals and the spread of the virus...well tic toc tic toc how many people rush to the ER in the GTA from sitting in Trinity park ..you guess it NO ONE

Was the virus the cause or was the virus just present? That is where the stats break down and can be used to inflick fear- think about it

Yep!

Yep!

Yeah, it is.

So why are we letting thousands of idiots “protest” over something that has nothing to do with Canada, them or anything relevant in our lives? Don’t get me wrong, we should have opened up months ago, but the people that kept us locked up are in favour of these ridiculous protests

Toronto police chief says George Floyd's death 'speaks to value of body-worn cameras'George Floyd’s life being taken at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis last week “speaks to the value of why we need body-worn cameras” right here in Toronto, police chief Mark Saunders said. I agree that body cameras provide additional evidence in the worst case scenarios and investigations to support justice. Also, they can be used to help train new officers on what to do/not to do in similar situations Agreed So what's stopping them from being mandated in TPS?
