This undated photo provided by AMLD in June 2020 shows endangered golden lion tamarins which live in the wild only in Brazil's Atlantic rainforest. WASHINGTON -- Biologist Carlos Ruiz has spent a quarter-century working to save golden lion tamarins, the charismatic long-maned monkeys native to Brazil's Atlantic Forest.
While the scientists follow government guidelines, they know that people intent on illegally exploiting the rainforests are still entering the parks, because several motion-activated research cameras have been smashed. "Ninety-nine per cent of these fires are started by people, and it's mostly done deliberately to open space for illegal cattle ranching," said Erick Cuellar, deputy director of an alliance of community organizations within Guatemala's Maya Biosphere Reserve called Asociacion de Comunidades Forestales de Peten.
In many African countries, wildlife tourism provides significant income to maintain parks where vulnerable species such as elephants, lions, rhinos and giraffes live.
Maybe it was because the media and governments made it sound like we were the endangered species. Kind of doesn’t matter about a couple of monkeys in a jungle when your life is on the line now does it!! Another stupid article CTV. You are fast becoming endangered as well!!
And no one cared...
Love these parody accounts.
Another endangered species that won’t survive COVID19 is small business people
The CULT of the Lefts BS...... while the left put madness in place that helped Destroy BILLIONS of animals lives during the FIRES in Australia last year. The insane left helped end many endangered species with their CULT of CO2 rules.
