Turning human bodies into worm food post-mortem has great potential to become an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional burial options, according to a U.S. pilot project.

The technique, known in the scientific community as natural organic reduction, involves mixing human remains with plant material at a high heat and breaking it down into compost.

“It’s highly effective,” Lynne Carpenter-Boggs, study author and professor of soil science and sustainable agriculture at Washington State University,“But it has taken some thought and some redesign to make this a process that could be allowable and acceptable for human use.” Within four to seven weeks, each of the bodies in the study decomposed into a skeleton. Some even showed signs of bone decomposition.

The MSM wants us to eat bugs, live in tiny micro apartments & at death be “eco-friendly” compost. Meanwhile the rich & political elite continue to lead a life of opulence & decadence. The world of 1984 & Atlas Shrugged is already here.

Coronavirus is spreading fast don’t listen to people in government they don’t know stay off trains planes ships and out of Toronto and Vancouver imo

Don’t know what to say about this....isn’t that what cremation is..scatter your ashes and you go into the environment....or am I missing something ...just saying ❤️🇨🇦

Maggots in that compost.

Babe..my corn has teeth in it....and i found a fingernail in my tomato...nope!

No.

That's what happens for centuries. Buried in the ground

Yep just throw me on the ole rotton food pile. 😜

No

It doesn’t matter what happens to my body after I won’t know anything since I will be dead

Composting left wing media sounds better ...

We must innovate new media platforms

CTV is evil

Do they take walk ins?

Maybe send them to the zoo to feed the animals.

The human in your picture appears to be plant based!

A SICK travesty from the INSANE enviro-nutbars

OMG...😮😮

People are nuts . Have some respect .

Just put grandpa into the green bin

Great idea. There are already some cemetaries around that allow a 'green' burial, aka straight into the dirt in a shroud or simple compostable box, no vault. Provided you haven't been embalmed.

I thought acid vats were the most green option. They do it in some other provinces.

Why not take the meat off the bones, and cook it up in a stew. Steam the brains and eat the kidneys, etc. Take the bones and break them up to get the marrow, grind up the remaining bones and put on your garden.

I know some liberal politicians that would qualify. They are mostly compost already!

I used to want to be 6ft under with an eternal flame, then I wanted to just be 6 ft under, now I want to be cremated and scattered to the wind . While on the subject I love this..

Clean and environmentally friendly. We are just mammals that would eventually decompose. Our bodies are no more special than any other animal or a tree. So, this is a great, friendly, cleaner and much cheaper option than a traditional cremation or burial.

Pity the worms!

Naayy

I laugh at the “not sure if it would work with human remains.” It hS worked for years for livestock, are we REALLY the arrogant to think our bodies decompose differently.... in a fashion that isnt acceptable.... shaking head.

This is fucking ridiculous!!

left wing nut jobs, no respect for life.

But, when I do it I’m a moooonnnnnster!

I do not want to be composted after I die. I was always a six foot under kind f guy. My wife who died of cancer chose to be cremated. I'll follow her lead. I want to be beside her ashes forevermore.

Would be better than watching CTV media and the fake news they spread.
