A CNN crew was arrested while giving a live television report Friday morning in Minneapolis -- and then released about an hour later -- as the crewState police detained CNN correspondent Omar Jimenez, his producer and his photojournalist shortly after 5 a.m. CT as Jimenez was reporting live from a street south of downtown, near where a police precinct was earlier set ablaze.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz told CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker that he deeply apologizes for what happened and would work to have the crew released. "I identified myself ... they said, 'OK, you're permitted to be in the area,'" recounted Campbell, who is white. Unfortunately, false identifiers are are not necessarily true. In a chaotic situation miss reputation can occur. Thereporter was in the wrong place at the wrong time for what reason other than money.
It seem like the Minneapolis police need to get some real police training.. They should be ashamed of themselves..

The Fake News Network staged the event by having a black reporter lead the crew to a restricted area and disregarded police warnings. CNN has done this type of thing previously. Complete lack of journalism.

This could have been all prevented if Amy Klobucher would have done her job as top prosecutor for Minnesota. She had the opportunity to put this dirty cop away, but dropped charges instead, for a previous murder.

Media is an accessory, everyone knows at least some component of these riots is to perform for the camera, no doubt about it, incredibly we now have a culture in which we must wear masks rendering identification of culprits much more difficult, can't make this scenario up
