SASKATOON -- When it comes to holiday shopping, a new survey suggests Canadians are expected to go return to pre-pandemic levels.
In 2020, Canadians planned to spend $693; but in 2021, they plan to spend $792, according to the survey. “Canadians are ready to put the disruption of COVID behind them and are looking forward to returning to brick-and-mortar stores," Diane J. Brisebois, RCC president and CEO, said in aShe explained that the blend of in-person and online shopping will continue to rise, with people taking advantage of curbside pickup and delivery.
The fourth annual survey from RCC involved 2,500 Canadians responding to a 155-page questionnaire from market research company Leger, which asked them how the pandemic has affected their financial wellbeing.
Who did you poll for this outcome? What was the question? Cause this is silly
Bah haha 🐑
Good luck, because with all the supply shortages, you probably won’t find what you’re looking for. Better hang on to your wallet and bide your time.

Really? I'll bet the only people who took the 'survey' were wealthy, I think most Canadians are suffering from the increase in the cost of living. The real horror story this Halloween is a trip to the grocery store!

We were in the same storm during the pandemic but definitely not the same boat. Most people I know can't afford groceries.
Of course we are going to spend more during this inflationary period we are going through currently. Thanks for some insightful material. 👍🏻
Good luck finding things to buy with the supply chain issues, it gets worse everyday
