Antonio Brown is officially a member of the Buccaneers.

Antonio Brown is reuniting with Tom Brady in the Sunshine State as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced they have officially signed the receiver to a one-year deal.

Brown is serving an eight-game NFL suspension and will be eligible to make his debut with the Bucs against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. Head coach Bruce Arians and general manager Jason Licht said injuries to the receiving corps made the decision to sign Brown easier. “This is something Jason and I have been talking about every couple weeks, ever since the injuries to our other guys,” said Arians in a statement. “When the time was right, we would see if we can pull the trigger and fit him into what we wanted to get done. And we’ll see. If Antonio does what I think he’s going to do, he’s going to be fine.”

In 131 regular-season games, the 32-year-old has 841 career receptions for 11,263 yards and 75 touchdowns. The Buccaneers are off to a 5-2 start this season with Brady completing 65.67 per cent of his passes for 1,910 yards and 18 touchdowns along with a 102.7 passer rating.
