” to temporarily relocate Bowmanville Hospital’s ICU and relocate care to the Ajax Pickering and Oshawa Hospitals.

It will open about the same time the maternity ward that closed years ago re-opens.

So sad, when politics and personal interest , let this happens to fill Doug Ford agenda with his buddies . We are going to be a providence that overpaid services. This happen long time ago , why do not take better measures there

But this is normal…

Thanks again Ford and Jones.

Is this a big deal? In Ontario there are many places that are farther than 20 minutes away from the next ER. I am 15 minutes away from the one in my town and 20 minutes from the next one.

fordnation

Ontario government is in denial regarding the nature of the health crisis. At the same time it must be asked if female health care professionals retire earlier since it can affect the spaces for training in the long term.

This is just DISGUSTING. SMH FordNewsEurope FIX IT..

And why has cp24 not ask to speak to the millionaires running the place and asking what they are doing to correct this issue. Blame ford. But who actually runs this place. Surely something can be done.

No worries, paramedics are allowed to take patients to other places. Just remember to look at the dark alley behind the hospital when you have time because that may be the other place patients are taken to.

Tell me again which way Durham voted? I guess people of Durham/bowmanville don’t really need health care. I guess hwy413 and hating on teachers was way more important.

Durham voters have elected Todd McCarty of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario as their MPP in the 2022 Ontario election Has anyone thought to ask Todd about this closure?

'Innovation' by fordnation and SylviaJonesMPP .

Happening all over Canada. The health care system has been a mess for years.

They were warned they all were but they gave us Ford anyway.

The government wants privatization, Conservatives did it years ago to LTC homes etc

BuildBackBetter type things

Thanks Doug.

“Best healthcare in the world”……..

WHY IS THERE A STAFF SHORTAGE!? WHY NOW? Are people quitting or getting sick?

Well it not fordnation ‘S fault

I'd almost bet , Ford will have us in xmas lockdowns again. Hospitals surging has always pit us into lockdowns PC Todd McCarthy won this seat with 45% of the vote. Only if the voters of the Lib, NDP AND Green Candidate had voted for one of them would they have taken that seat. Strategic voting will never coalesce to one party and we need to eliminate this strategy. VoterTurnOff Thanks Douggie!
