The BlueJays have reportedly signed 2020 fourth-round draft pick Nick Frasso.

, the Blue Jays have locked up all five of their selections from the 2020 draft.

Toronto spent its full bonus pool — plus a five per cent overage — on the draftees. Teams that outspend their allotment by five per cent or less pay a 75 per cent tax on the overage. Any additional spending would have resulted in the loss of a future draft pick. In his two NCAA starts in 2020, Frasso surrendered four earned runs in 8.2 innings. The 21-year-old registered a 2.22 ERA in 19 appearances for Loyola Marymount in 2019 with 10 saves and an 11.6 K/9 rate.

The 6-foot-5 hurler’s best pitch is his fastball, which can hit 97 m.p.h. He complements it with a curveball and the occasional change-up,
