A Beaverton woman is planning to ‘skip winter’ this year after winning $100,000 in Lottario.
The mother and grandmother matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order in the June 25 draw.“I always say yes to Encore,” she shared while picking up her winnings. “I was out running errands when I thought to check my tickets. The machine made a funny noise, and I asked the store clerk if the register was broken, but the clerk said I had won and we had to wait for a call from OLG,” Madden explained.
She said she was shocked. “It’s numbing. I don’t know how else to put it,” she smiled. “I can’t get it through my head that I won $100,000.” Madden says she has a lot of things to consider putting this win toward.
