Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino announced the program in response to public demand that the so-called 'Guardian Angels' be recognized for their work in the health-care sector during the pandemic

Justin Tang/The Canadian Press

Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino announced the program today in response to public demand that the so-called “Guardian Angels” – many in Quebec – be recognized for their work in the health-care sector during the pandemic. They must also demonstrate they have six months of experience in the profession before they can receive permanent residency and have until the end of this month to meet that requirement.

“As these individuals face an uncertain future in Canada, the current circumstances merit exceptional measures in recognition of their service during the pandemic,” he said. That province has housed many of the nearly 60,000 people who have requested asylum in Canada after crossing on foot into the country from the U.S., the majority using an entry point in Quebec called Roxham Road.

Free pass for the Scamdemic. And global new sucks

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS take jobs from CANADIAN CITIZENS ....fixed the headline for you G&M.....you're welcome 🙂

TYPICAL UN GLOBALIST TREASONIST TRAITORS AGENDAS.

As long as they can write the test and pass im fine with that.

Canada really needs to get rid of the liberals.

Why are asylum seekers given jobs that could be going CANADIANS? cdnpoli

Are these the illegal refugees that are supposed to apply for refugee status it the country they arrive first the USA.

This is a great initiative. Asylum seekers working on the front lines have put their lives at risk and serves Canada well. This is no more than they deserve.

I don’t see anyone here saying they’d take their place working in the front lines of Covid. These people put themselves in the line of fire. You don’t think that gives them a shot at residency? I do.

They all claim they are nurses and beacuse paperwork takes forever they get jobs as PSW'S and boom frontline

So how do they manage this jumping the cue for jobs?

on what planet is this a good idea again

NO!!

A house divided against itself, cannot stand !

Why would illegals be allowed to work in positions like this? WTF is happening?

Their cellphonesvwould be humming with info on process back to the old country😎

This is a slap in the face for all the immigrants working hard to get there for years!!!!! Unbelievable, what a joke this government is, no respect for people’s years of hard work.

How are unqualified migrants getting these jobs in the first place? Perhaps this has a lot to do with Quebec's enormous nursing home death toll

Asylum seekers work?

Translation: We need to get as many liberal voters into Canada as possible because legal citizens won't be voting for us.

Liberals just can’t do enough for illegals circumventing Canada’s legal immigration system, nothing like rewarding people for breaking the laws.

This is just another slap in the face to those who follow the rules.
