A 29-year-old Taiwanese woman said she was pulling out weeds from a family grave when she first felt something go into her eye. Assuming it was dirt, she washed her eye out with water. However, the washing did not work and by nightfall, the eye was swollen and marked with stinging pain underneath her eyelid.
The pain did not lessen over the next three hours, forcing her to visit a hospital to get her eye checked.
