There are plenty of modern vehicles targeted to the Millennial niche market, but the most committed hipsters tend to go vintage, or at least pre-owned. Here's why.

The hipster trend has come and gone, but many of the hipsters themselves have stuck around. And, wouldn’t you know it, they – we? – stillneed cars to drive.

What qualifies me to speak on such a topic? Well, I’m digitally employed, about 70 per cent of my personal belongings were purchased at a thrift store, and my hair is long enough to put into a ‘man-bun’ if I were so inclined, which I occasionally am. Saab 900The Saab 900 guarantees a few things to its owner: it will be a pain in the ass mechanically, and it will start a lot of conversations with fellow admirers of vintage cars and/or Swedish practicality. It’s a solid machine that’s not exactly cheap to maintain thanks to the fact it’s an import by a now-defunct automaker, but find it in the five-door hatchback or cabriolet convertible model and you’ll be the envy of every tattooed barista on the continent.

Volkswagen RabbitThe cabriolet version of the Volkswagen Rabbit is the kind of car that people who know little about cars look at and go “aw, that’s so cute.” With a soft top, front-wheel-drive and a frugal if finicky engine, the Rabbit cabriolet is a great way for hipsters to relive a decade they weren’t alive for the first time around.

Instagram post by former ‘Love Island’ host who committed suicide released by familyCaroline Flack was arrested in December for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, and stepped down as host afterwards No empathy, she obviously couldn't handle what men have had to deal with. I don't think this was a great outcome at all, however maybe this is what needs to happen more often; the sentencing and subsequent loss of employment etc.. Definitely not the suicide part. Phony tabloids sponsored by the government. So sad about this 😭
