Trying to decide which goalies to start is a dilemma that Fantasy Hockey owners face daily. 

We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals. 

In addition to the Starting Goalies Rankings table, we will have a write-up about the best streaming options for that day (if any).

Jaroslav Halak (NYR @ ANA) – 3% Rostered

Halak is still looking for his first win of the season, going 0-4-1 with a 3.22 GAA and .883 SV%. He draws an outstanding matchup on Wednesday, facing a Ducks team that are second-last in GF/60 (2.48) and third-worst in xGF/60 (2.51). The Rangers are -160 road favourites and the Ducks have the seventh-lowest implied total (2.8) on the 15-game slate. With that said, he remains a risky option and chances are you won’t need a streamer on such a busy night.
