PICTOU, N.S. - The Cape Breton Lynx and Northern Subway Selects battled to a 1-1 tie in Maritime Major Female Under-18 Hockey League action at Hector Arena on Saturday.
Jeneva Marshall scored for the Lynx, while Karys Ross netted the lone goal for the Selects.
Cape Breton's Meghan Muise made 39 saves. The Selects' Jorja Burrows turned aside 16 of 17 shots.
The Lynx will continue the regular season next weekend when they travel to New Brunswick to play the Edza East Moncton Subaru Rockets.
