Deontay Wilder will get his chance at redemption when he takes on Tyson Fury in the third instalment of their rivalry on Oct. 3 in Las Vegas, according to Mike Coppinger of the Athletic.
Fury won the second fight back on Feb. 23 after Wilder’s corner threw in the towel in the seventh round. It was Wilder’s first loss in 44 fights and he claimed that a 45-pound costume he wore during his ring entrance gave him unsteady legs.
In the initial matchup between the heavyweights back in December 2018, Wilder and Fury battled to a controversial split draw, where Fury survived a late knockdown in the 12th round.
