Swedish teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg on Tuesday called for action, not praise, from US lawmakers as she joined other youth leaders in kicking off two days of meetings and speeches on Washington’s Capitol Hill.

This week’s events are intended to raise awareness ahead of a global “climate strike” on Friday, when students and workers around the world are being encouraged to walk out of schools and jobs to demand action on global warming and pressure leaders due to attend the annual United Nations summit later this month.“Don’t invite us here to tell us how inspiring we are without doing anything about it because it doesn’t lead to anything.

In remarks meant for Congress as a whole, she said: “I know you are trying but just not hard enough. Sorry.”

This is peak leftist absurdism. The media presenting this creepy kid as some kind of moral arbiter and font of wisdom. When, in reality, she's just an empty sock-puppet being used by cynical adults who should know better.

Silly little manipulated hypocrit, if she’s serious she’d toddle off to China and India and peddle her tripe.

Enough already with these farcical palace coupsThe attempted coup against the NSW Premier should serve as a warning to all politicians to think carefully before shafting an elected leader. Very good editorial. The attempted spill was ridiculous and I hope the miscreants suffer from a career perspective from their attempts to drag a conscience vote into a party issue, regardless of popular support
