Without China, Russia and India at the table for COP26 talks, countries are “whistling in the wind”, according to Brexit leader Nigel Farage.

Mr Farage criticised the Morrison government’s decision to commit to a net zero by 2050 target before the climate summit, telling Sky News host Paul Murray the Prime Minister has “decided that Australia should become a lot poorer”.

“China, who produce 28 per cent of global CO2 and are building a hundred coal fired power stations this year won’t be there, and nor will one of the world’s biggest producers of natural gas in the shape of Russia,” Mr Farage said.

Looks like UK is very desperate after Brexit. China is the biggest contributor to the world zero emission. No other country made a clear promise like China.

The worlds biggest polluters have given the conference the finger and Australia is smiling all the way to the export bank😎

Yeah but Nigel Farage is the epitome of a guy you would pay to see swim in one of the massive water enclosures at Jurassic World. Does Sky produce anything that isn't trash opinions or nah

Murdoch Puppet says what?

Exactly - China, Russia and India are not interested in zero emissions - it will stifle their ever increasing march towards more industrialisation

‘We have left it too late’: COP26 unlikely to limit warming to 1.5C, scientists warnCOP26 is unlikely to help keep global warming to 1.5C above pre-industrial temperatures by the end of the century, unless half of the emission cuts needed to reach net zero by 2050 are made by 2030, Australian climate scientists have warned. Really, what would scientists know? Would they know more than politicians? Like..what is good for the planet and other sciency stuff? Yep, and the corrupt LNP are going for 2050. Vote the LNP out ASAP. Give us all air-conditioning units... that will cool the planet
