A Supreme Court jury has heard a woman accused of murdering her husband told detectives she would be relieved if he committed suicide but denied asking for him to be killed.Margaret Anne Otto and Bradley Scott Purkiss have pleaded not guilty to murdering tattoo artist Dwayne 'Doc' Davies in 2017
The victim's wife, Margaret Anne Otto, and his friend Bradley Scott Purkiss pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Davies, whose body was found tightly wrapped in a tarp and buried in a shallow grave on a property in Levendale. The court heard Mr Purkiss had offered to"get her out" of her relationship with Mr Davies and later told her"you're not going to have any problems anymore, you're free".Earlier in the trial the court heard the pair had begun an intimate relationship while Mr Purkiss renovated the bathroom in the Risdon Vale home she shared with Mr Davies.
Crown prosecutor Madeleine Wilson allege the pair had a"growing resentment" for Mr Davies and had"met and devised a plan to bring about his death".
