Hundreds of Spanish women board a plane bound for Australia in the 1960s, in search of a better life. What they didn't know was the Spanish and Australian governments had a plan to marry them off to other migrant workers.

It may have been nearly six decades ago, but Josefina Uribarri remembers 14 July 1960 like it was yesterday.

“[They] were looking for single girls to come to Australia,” she told SBS News ahead of a reunion for some of those on the flight earlier this month. Josefina Uribarri moved to Australia on her own when she was 27.“It was a hard decision,” the 87-year-old said. The 'Martas' were travelling under a migration agreement between the governments of Australia and Spain, supported by the Catholic Church.

Sleeper agent operated in Australia for years before ASIO caught himThe head of the nation's domestic spy agency has sounded the alarm on foreign states interfering in Australia's political affairs, revealing a 'sleeper' agent was secretly operating in the country for years before being caught Pretty sure there is foreign interference also from foreign America, Britain and even Europe. But white Anglo-Australian spy chief Burgess must never forget the threat within and outside. Never forget BlackLivesMatter too Two extra states exists within Australia from my first hand experiences: of Chinnies and Mussies –both are fueled by combustible combination of arrogance & ignorance at once. Both are identical in mob-syndicate like cohesion & largely operate as such. Double trouble for Oz soon! Even I know China has operatives placed in many strategic positions, Local,State and Federal governments included. Not to met lobbing here with bags of cash buying up everything.

Spy boss reveals Aussie ‘sleeper’ threatThe infiltration of foreign “sleeper” agents and a growing threat of right-wing extremism are among the greatest threats facing the nation today, the boss of Australia’s domestic spy agency has warned. Nice reporting... the ASIO report says the biggest threat is Islamic terrorist yet the majority of the article is about “right wing extremists” and little to no mention of the real threats Why are we suprised ? Islamic extremism is the number one concern as per the article. However they choose to focus on right wing extremism in the article. Pathetic reporting
