Westpac has sought to freeze the assets of Bill Papas’ girlfriend, Louise Agostino, after it became aware of property linked to her being sold.
The bank put forward an urgent application to the Federal Court of Australia on Tuesday, as well as an expansion of freezing orders related to Mr Papas in Greece, where he owns Greek Super League 2 side, Xanthi.found a unit in the Sydney suburb of Rozelle believed to be owned by Ms Agostino sold in December 2021 for an undisclosed sum, prior to auction. The one bedroom unit - just a street away from Mr Papas’ former home - was bought in 2019 for $925,000.
