Mr McCormack said on Monday he understood the family was being reunited in Perth this morning. Mr Hawke’s office has been asked to confirm details., especially that of the two young girls. The acting Prime Minister said the government had stuck to its “clear and steadfast policy” on people who arrived on boats.“We are all compassionate,” Mr McCormack said. “I appreciate that many people have a view on this matter but we will decide our view, through Alex Hawke, who is the minister, with the proper oversight of this decision.

katinacurtis Now you are. But you weren’t. And we will remember ScottMorrisonMP, you’re still nothing more than a marketing manager who couldn’t get a seat at the big boy table for G7 or even a private meeting with POTUS Biden. You’re an figure head in admin only, at this point.

katinacurtis They appear to be confusing compassion with indifference

katinacurtis Compassionately speaking, ScottMorrisonMP is a Monster 🎃👻😈

‘They should never have been sent’: Biloela family’s fate to be decided within daysImmigration Minister Alex Hawke is close to a final decision on whether to intervene in a long-running court dispute over the family’s claims, with Liberals and Nationals asking him to let them rejoin the community. Sad story Sorry. While I do feel for them - why didn’t they just go home? TWICE they were on the plane to Sri Lanka and their lawyers “stopped the plane”. This is totally self-inflicted pain. Australian children abused sexually assaulted going hungry what's wrong won't sell enough papers or the pollies can't use as they use the children as pawns for self interest All the focus on one family imagine how many Aussies kids would be helped if they had as much coverage

'This has gone on for too long': Split emerges within Coalition on future of Biloela familyOpinions are split within government ranks over whether a family currently detained on Christmas Island should be allowed to settle in their adopted home of Biloela. The courts have ruled against this family time and time again. Time to send them back to Sri Lanka. It really saddens me that LNP politicians have come to the party before our ABC. Internal polling must be a concern for some Liberal's. The abuse of children was not a problem for all of them last week. They all voted for the repeal of Medivac.

Biloela demands Tamil asylum seeker family be returned 'home' at moving birthday gathering for sick childSupporters of the Tamil asylum-seeker family detained on Christmas Island beg the federal government to bring 'our little family home' to the Queensland town of Biloela. Biloela people are very sweet. But for most of the war, the Tamils were the aggressors. India issued an open invitation for them to return to Tamil Nadu. More ABC victims… Would they show that much support for Brenton Tarrant? Nades held 'leadership positions' in a proscribed terrorist organisation that carried out many terror attacks including SHOOTING UP A MOSQUE AND KILLING 147 MEN AND BOYS!
