Both states are charting the path to COVID-normal, but each state has differed on what freedoms it would reward its fully vaccinated residents from that first milestone of 70 per cent second dose vaccine coverage. sumeyyailanbey covid19

Premiers Daniel Andrews and Gladys Berejiklian have been unequivocal on their paths to freedom: only the vaccinated will be allowed to enjoy large swaths of public life.

But there are marked difference in the speed at which each state will reward its fully vaccinated residents. Victoria’s is the more conservative approach, with life at 70 per cent mainly resuming outdoors, which Mr Andrews said was “far safer” than indoors. Hospitality venues and retail in NSW will be permitted to operate indoors with strict density requirements of one person per four square metres. All of this will only be permitted outdoors in Victoria.

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 People don’t seem to realise NSW was in lockdown well before Melbourne. So logic would suggest the plans will track differently particularly when you also add the vaccine prioritisation to NSW.

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 Sack Dan Andrews

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 Freedom is now a ‘reward’ for the people if they are very very good. Just what have we become?

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 If the NSW plan works will DanielAndrewsMP treat Victorians with the same respect & freedoms? Or will he continue to enjoy his dictator status ruling over the worlds longest lockdown? Victorians deserve better & compassionate leadership. Dan has bankrupted & broken our state

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 How can this be? Is it different virus, did doctors go to different schools, is algorithm different for modelling?

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 Never thought I’d say this but I wish I lived in NSW!

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 I know where I'd rather be. Especially because NSW will get to each milestone 2 - 3 weeks ahead of VIC.

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 I thought NSW was changing restrictions on the Monday after they reach 70%dd. This could actually be closer to 80%dd -4 current rate depending which day it occurs. (I may be mistaken here so apologies)

sumeyyailanbey COVID19 Can Gladys start running Victoria. Honestly Dan is still in kindergarten on covid.
