Mr Orman was found guilty of being the getaway driver and was sentenced to 20 years in prison, but has long professed his innocence, and appealed his conviction to Australia's High Court. The multi-car crash took place at Urrbrae on April 25. But after 12 years in jail, and as news of Ms Gobbo's relationship with police became public, Mr Orman's conviction was quashed by Victoria's Court of Appeal .
