US lawmakers in the House of Representatives have voted 354 to 60 to condemn Trump's move to withdraw American troops from northeast Syria. Story: 📷: AFP

The vote was 354 to 60 for the resolution, as dozens of Trump's fellow Republicans joined the majority Democrats in favour.

"I think that vote - the size of the vote, more than 2-1 of the Republicans voted to oppose what the president did - probably got to the president. Because he was shaken up by it," Pelosi told reporters. They also angrily denounced the release from prison of Islamic State fighters since Turkey's offensive began a week ago.

Separately on Wednesday, congressional and committee leaders from both parties were meeting with Trump at the White House to discuss his Syria policy.

When you realize this isn't a parody. That this is from the actual president. Interesting to note the date of letter, calls, and withdrawal. Trump, Still winning. (Not sure what though) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

60 republicans voted against. That is compounding evidence, that the tide she is turning. Spin that any way you want. There's going to be a huge flood soon.

Lip service. All political no substance.

So why have they already been removed?

Yeah, the same US lawmakers who vote to invade Middle Eastern countries in the first place. If you leftard sooks weren't so pathetically desperate to attack Trump, you'd criticise the people who actually start these wars, not the person trying to get his country of of them.
