Sky News contributor bwolpe says US President realDonaldTrump “will try and make best efforts” to wage war on drug cartels in Mexico following a massacre at the American border.

Sky News contributor Bruce Wolpe says US President Donald Trump “will try and make best efforts” to wage war on drug cartels in Mexico following a massacre at the American border. Mr Wolpe told Sky News the US president and Mexican president should work together and hopefully make some “progress” after nine Americans were killed on the border.

“Politically the president has been talking about the border and how unstable and dangerous it is, this reinforces that and strengthens his posture on that,” he said. “An event like this is completely shocking and deserves the strongest action.” At least six children and three women were killed after gunmen opened fire on the families as they traveled on a highway in the Mexican border state of Sonora.
