Tyson offered $1 million to face football trio

Leading promoter Brian Amatruda has put in a $1 million offer in hopes of luring boxing great Mike Tyson to Australia in a bid to face off against either Paul Gallen, Barry Hall or Sonny Bill Williams.

Amatruda is a well-respected promoter within Australia. He's promoted cards featuring Anthony Mundine, Danny Green, AFLW star Tayla Harris and many others.But now Amatruda is looking for his next scalp after nominating three of the biggest football stars turned-boxers Australia has ever seen to take on the former heavyweight champion.

"I'd make it part of a card with a world title fight for Tayla on it. It would be enormous. Not just a fight, it would be an event."The promotor confirmed he made contact with celebrity agent Max Markson who was the key figure behind Tyson's fan tour in Australia back in 2012.
