Police have arrested a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman near Newcastle in relation to the alleged murder of Danielle Easey.
The woman was arrested at a home at Holmesville and taken to Toronto Police Station. Police conducted searches at both premises as well as a home in Narara.Police were alerted to the alleged murder of Ms Easey after members of the public saw an item floating in Cockle Creek in Killingworth near Newcastle on August 31. Emergency services arrived at the scene to discover a woman's body wrapped in plastic.
The mother-of-two was known to police and had become involved in "drug-related activities over the last few weeks", he said.Ms Easey lived in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Booragul with family but had been staying more recently at multiple locations around the area, police said. Ms Collier had been in labour in the hospital when the quake struck, forcing everyone outside and onto the grass.
