Sky News host Chris Kenny says the mission of Tracey Spicer – who “led the charge” on the MeToo movement – was “all about trial by media”.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the mission of Tracey Spicer – who “led the charge” on the #MeToo movement – was “all about trial by media”. “Spicer was on a mission to expose what she believed were the many predators in the Australian entertainment industry,” Mr Kenny said.

In 2017, Ms Spicer told the Daily Telegraph there are “30 to 40 alleged offenders so far and I would say the vast majority of them would have more than one case against them”. “So we assessed Spicer’s promises against delivery,” Mr Kenny said. “Only three matters, two of which resulted in criminal prosecution, as for those two … both men were grateful to be acquitted but understandably disgusted by what amounted to trial by media.

sophieelsworth Shame how power corrupts, used to be a truly outstanding newsreader with a great media voice and someone we could all look up to.

sophieelsworth Shocking

Says the dude that conducts trial by media weekdays at 5.

How does she get away with this? How does Tracey Spicer sleep at night? ABCLies destroyed craigmclachlan and this man's career. A thirty plus year career. So so wrong. All you involved in this need to face the consequences. Shame on all of u.

Why isn’t Tracey Spicer being held accountable for destroying people’s lives? By making false accusations, she has only made it harder for actual victims. How can anyone believe the ABCLies after watching them feed women lines and coach them to smear CraigMcLachlan? Channel7

Very relevant, lives can be lost because of Trial By Media 'Witch hunts are being carried out without any evidence ,you have a grudge against some one so try them in the media ,its easy no one can stop you or so it would seem.I Its a disgrace.

Trial by media is wrong, lives are being ruined on the words of Headlines, its down to the courts to decide not some bimbo reporter who has found a new way to earn a living while an innocent man is left with a reputation even though innocent JusticeForCraigMcLachlan channel7

It's a virtual lynching and it needs to stop. We have due process for a reason. This type of thing eliminates that opportunity, ruining the lives of those that are falsely accused and belittling real victims.

So Tracey Spicer ruined a few men’s lives (who were then found not guilty) and has made life so much harder for genuine victims of sexual harassment? She’s achieved the sum total of nothing for women in Australia, and at a terrible cost. Shameful.

Just look at it! Can't tell how much is helmet and how much is wart, honestly!

And how would the illustrious Mr Kenny know so much about trail by media, especially after dark?

‘Few people are seriously ill’ yet we have a ‘paranoid nation’: Chris Kenny | Sky News AustraliaWhat matters now is how many are sick, “not how many infections there are,” according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\n“Gladys Berejiklian and her Chief Health Adviser Dr Kerry Chant continue to give the nation a lesson in cautious, diligent, and restrained pandemic management,” Mr Kenny said.\n\nNew South Wales recorded 11 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of the Sydney cluster to 49.\n\nMr Kenny pointed to an article, by three ministers in the Singapore government, in which they “crystalised beautifully” the idea of learning to live with the virus.\n\n“The ministers say the bad news is that COVID-19 may never go away, the good news is that it is possible to live normally with it in our midst,” he said.\n\n“They make the point that, ‘instead of monitoring COVID-19 infection numbers every day, we will focus on the outcomes: how many fall very sick, how many in the intensive care unit, how many need to be intubated for oxygen, and so on’.\n\n“This is what matters, how many are sick, not how many infections there are. Australia too must be aiming to accelerate our path to this kind of normal.”\n MurdochGutterMedia MurdochRoyalCommission Masks on for the vaccinated too, because they are still air vessels for ChinaVirus. 'Panicked states, media hysteria and political pressure' pushed Berejiklian down 'lockdown path' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says despite restrictions in New South Wales working well, 'border closures by other panicked states, hysteria from the media, and political pressure' has pushed Premier Gladys Berejiklian to go down 'the lockdown path'.\n\n'Now as you know I have long praised the NSW response to this pandemic, and despite the current hysteria, the breathless media reporting, and the petty political point-scoring, the management of Gladys Berejiklian and her Chief Health Adviser Dr Kerry Chant remains head and shoulders ahead the rest of the country,' he said.\n\n'They have hosted most of the hotel quarantine caseload for this country; the only state doing its fair share of the heavy-lifting when it comes to getting Australians through quarantine and back home.\n\n'Four council areas covering the CBD and eastern suburbs of Sydney are under an effective lockdown now; although it's not a word that the premier wants to use.'\n\nMr Kenny said 'you can't lockdown and hide forever' given there have been 'no deaths in Australia this year, no one seriously ill and in hospital right now'. \n\n'But after six unnecessary and demonstrably ineffectual lockdowns across the country so far this year, Sydney is, unofficially, in the nation's 7th lockdown of the year, and no one seems to be enunciating a plan to end this madness,' he said.\n\n Nah its all the Covid, numbnuts. Rubbish Kenny you blonk. Gladys knows it’s the right path of action now, completely shitting herself that she will have another Ruby Princess type situation if she doesn’t take action. He lack of leadership could down to begin with could well see NSW become the worst effected Competing with TheShovel again

Taxpayer money ‘funding misinformation’ on Paul Barry’s Media Watch | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says taxpayer money is “funding misinformation” when it comes to the “overly ideological and habitually deceptive” Paul Barry on ABC show Media Watch.\n\n“Barry is obsessed with promoting his alarmist views on global warming, and twisting the facts to attack any reporting that is not alarmist enough,” Mr Kenny said.\n\n“But more than anything, he is obsessed with spending taxpayers’ money attacking the commercial media that pays its own way, especially the owners of this station, News Corp.”\n\nMr Kenny pointed to analysis of Media Watch over the past 10 months, which reveals that “of almost 400 critical pieces, more than 50 per cent have been directed at News Corp – with Sky News his top target”.\n\n“He has misled audiences to attack this show, and create a false impression about what I’ve reported, he’s done the same to mischaracterise what Andrew Bolt has reported and so on.”\n Paul Barry living rent free in Chris Kenny's bowling ball. Kenny's only salty because Barry consistently points out the multitude of times Kenny gets it wrong. I would suggest that there is a very good reason Newscorp features so prominently. And it’s nothing to do with bias. I’ll give ratings out of 10 between you and Barry for trustworthy and knowledgeable of the subjects discussed - you 1.5, Barry 8 👍✅ He talks about current topics, like most Murdoch Zoo employees you love regurgitating the past, or issues that your masters direct u to talk about

Australia's economy will continue to open up off the back of 'remarkable turnaround' | Sky News AustraliaAustralia’s economy has staged “a remarkable turnaround” and will continue to open up should the nation successfully control the coronavirus, says Accenture Co-Founder Andrew Charlton.\n\nLatest figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics show a plunge in the nation’s unemployment rate from 5.5 per cent to 5.1 per cent in May with some 980,000 new jobs created over the past 12 months.\n\nMr Charlton says the nation’s economic growth presents a chance to “drive some really positive dynamics”.\n\n“There are a lot of positive signs… if we are successful in continuing to control the virus, notwithstanding some of the breakouts that we’ve seen, we should see a continued opening up of the economy,” he said.\n\n“We have lots of good tailwinds in asset markets with a really strong boom in house prices right across the country, strong growth in equity markets, some signs of increase in capital investment so the Australian economy has staged a remarkable turnaround. \n\n“We’re seeing that in the labour market, we’re seeing it in other markets, and it presents the opportunity to drive some really positive dynamics, getting unemployment lower than it’s been in a long time, getting wages growth off the floor where it’s been for a long time and getting capital investment going again right through the economy.”\n\n That’s what a good dose of Keynesian spending does. And yet we had Sky talking heads saying for over a year that the economy would be in ruins if we pursued an elimination strategy. I'm calling big time BS.
