Three teenagers are arrested after authorities extinguish a grass fire which ignited in bushland in Sydney's south-west yesterday evening.

Three teenagers have been arrested in relation to a grassfire which broke out in Sydney's south-west yesterday.Their mobile phones have all been seized for forensic examinationA passing motorist alerted authorities to the fire which ignited in bushland off The Northern Road in Harrington Park around 5.30pm.

Using information obtained from the public, police officers searched the nearby area and arrested two boys, aged 15 and 16, near Harrington Parkway.Firefighters extinguished the bushfire by 6.15pm and the teenagers were taken to Narellan Police Station for interviews. Three mobile phones have been seized for forensic examination and all three boys are eligible to be dealt with under the Young Offender's Act.Last month Emergency Services Minister David Elliott described the

Arson; the number one cause of these fires, but the Govt ignores it!

How many is that now 18 or more? This is not a coincidence these people are acting on external motivators. Who or whatever that is needs to be gone after very hard to put an end to this contagious piromania before we see a mass casualty event.

And nothing will happen to them - Nothing.

Climate emergency !

I still think a suitable deterrent is tie these low life people to a pole about 1km in front of the fire they have lit and their fate is in the hands of the awesome people fighting their creation..... But apparently that is frowned upon.
