Loxton and District Health Advisory Council presiding member Sally Goode said the scholarship program showed the community valued aged care workers but also that it expected a high level of care for its ageing population. "At the moment there is no legal requirement for anyone working in aged care to have a Certificate III or any other sort of training," Ms Goode said.
