Josh Addo-Carr reveals how the Storm system lifted his game, as he prepares to farewell the Melbourne faithful at the end of the 2021 season.

Regular viewers of Melbourne Storm games will know that winger Josh Addo-Carr is the fastest man on the planet.Josh Addo-Carr says he "respected" Storm coach Craig Bellemy for whipping him into shape when he arrived in Melbourne in 2016

Addo-Carr arrived in Melbourne at the end of 2016 after an off-season holiday where fitness was not a high priority. Josh Addo-Carr has played a pivotal role in Melbourne's success over his five years of being at the club."No disrespect to the Tigers but when I was with [them] I was just playing footy. I was sort of like the clown of the classroom," he said.

And, while playing for the Storm has always come first, Addo-Carr said being away from family had started to take its toll.
