Tennis Australia should have coordinated this better. Had them over quarrantining for 10-14 days before playing. Somewhere out in the countryside with tennis courts. There have been multiple sporting organisations across the globe to seek inspiration from.

All players and support staff should have taken better precautions to avoid contracting coronavirus before they left for Australia. Their 14 day quarantine will end well before the tournament starts.

The players were told in a video call that if there was a positive case they would need to isolate, nz tennis player said on TV news but some players didn't even bother to jump on the video call... Also us Vic wont be happy if we have another lockdown so they can suck it up

I think the part of this if the players had been told this was a likely outcome of a positive test they probably wouldn't have come. I think its a bit rich to invite these players then have this happen to them. I still think they should do the 14 days in quarantine.

14 days and no practice that's actually pretty frustrating performance wise. Perhaps they should had been instructed to come in a month earlier, umm or post pone the tournament 2 more weeks. They should be aware of indoor training methods.

Tough luck to the tennis players who are quarantined. They are not entitled to be treated differently than anyone else. In Australia we pride ourselves for how we manage COVID-19 and we achieve that by what the government advises.
