The online gaming industry is valued at more than US$250 billion. And young Aussie Riad Chikhani is among a group that has made money from the market.

Riad Chikhani created his first website at just 12 years old and by 14, he’d founded his first company. Now, as the chief executive of media network GAMURS group, he’s a major player in Australia’s growing esports industry.

Chikhani had been waiting for this moment for a very long time, and while he’s sad it took such a devastating event for mainstream society to take note of the gaming world, he welcomes the paradigm shift COVID-19 initiated. “The culture at GAMURS is one of brutal honesty when things aren’t working and we double down when it does.”

Melbourne protesters charge police lines, violent clashes at Qld Freedom RallyChaotic scenes have emerged from Melbourne of protesters bursting through police lines covered in capsicum spray while a violent fight broke out at Queensland’s Freedom Day rally. they sent out police women to stop the thugs. didn't work. time to get serious. covid will sort it out. The police being their is pointless unless they are protecting property. Nice to see the protestors no being pussies even though I mostly disagree with them There was a protest in Brisbane as well. But no heavy handed police cordons or roadblocks, and everything seems to have gone smoothly. There is no excuse for any aggression by protesters, but the police were not faultless here. We don't want to see these tactics in Victoria.
