Telstra announces T25 plan

The company has recently announced a new strategy, the T25 plan, which focuses on improving 5G coverage across Australia.

“If T22 was a strategy of necessity, T25 was a strategy for growth,” Mr Penn told Sky News Australia. “We had to transform Telstra, and it wasn’t just about getting the cost down it was also about radically simplifying the company, re-digitising all of our technology, establishing our leadership position in 5G and of course setting up our infrastructure business as a standalone business unit.

“We’re 95 per cent of the way to all of that, so we’re in a great position to leverage those capabilities for growth in the future.”
