Police are speaking to witnesses after a teenager from Brisbane’s eastern suburbs fell to his death during a drug-fuelled party on the Gold Coast.

Cian English from Hawthorne in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs died after falling from the fourth floor of the View Pacific resort in Surfers Paradise just after 3am on Saturday, theA member of the public spotted his body on the footpath outside the tower building and alerted authorities.

“CPR was commenced on the individual and it was later called off. He could not be resuscitated and was deceased on scene.” Another witnesses told police they heard a loud noise towards the side of the apartment block before discovering Mr English’s body, according to theQAS Senior Operations Supervisor Neil Stead said paramedics involved have undergone welfare checks.
