A teenage boy has been injured after his family were forced to flee their burning home after a suspected arson attack in Adelaide's north-west. 9News

say the family woke to crackling sounds about 1.30am today as a fire raged through the brush fence at their home on Lambert Avenue in West Lakes Shore.Emergency services on the scene of the suspected arson attack on an Adelaide home.Another member of the family was treated by paramedics on scene.MFB crews arrived and put out the flames, however, the house could not be saved.

"The flames were really high and I just feel bad for the people living here," witness Thomas Bator told 9News.The incident was the second brush fence fire in West Lakes Shore in a week.Police are investigating if the two incidents are linked.The Adelaide family home was destroyed in the blaze. "I actually just thought it was kids playing a prank - doing something really, really silly - but hearing about what happened last night it's really scary now," Ms Woolfall said.

Police are calling for neighbours and businesses to review any CCTV they might have to help the investigation. Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area last night is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at
