‘Talk is cheap’: junior doctor reveals why specialist not censured over women in medicine comments | Kaubo

Credit:In the emails dated November 2018, Professor Dietz said women were "more expensive to train in the sense that their lifetime work years will be less", that they were more likely to drop out and fall ill, which made it harder to staff departments.

The junior doctor councillors tried to move a motion to censure Professor Dietz, but it was ruled "out of order" by union president Dr Tony Sara, according to documents seen by theDr Lawler resigned from the council last week.

"In fact, [Dr Sara’s] main complaint was the "invective" that doctors in training used to address the comments."
