Royal family member Peter Phillips has revealed his uncle King Charles’s cancer recovery is “taking a little longer” but insists the King remains in good spirits amid his health battle.

A senior member of the royal family has provided a major update on King Charles’s cancer battle and told Sky News Australia whether the monarch is likely to visit Australia as planned later this year.

Charles, 75, was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer while undergoing a separate procedure to treat an enlarged prostate in January. Phillips revealed that Charles was “pushing” staff to resume more of his royal duties against the advice of his doctors.
