Despite more cases being reported in the city’s west, a smaller proportion of these were determined with the at-home kits.

More than 47 per cent of the 16,000 positive COVID-19 tests reported in northern Sydney over the past week were at-home rapid antigen tests. In the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, 45 per cent of the 20,000 recorded cases were identified through a rapid test.
