Former speaker and liberal MP Bronwyn Bishop says Sweden central bank’s decision to sell off bonds from Australia due to concerns about lack of climate action “is really a new form of protectionism”.

The Swedish government said this week the bank would stop investing in assets from countries with large greenhouse gas footprints, regardless of their

yields. “It’s no longer protecting Sweden’s products or industry, they’re trying to protect an ideology and put it into practice," Ms Bishop said. Image: Getty

Honest to goodness who gives RATS what that old crone BronwynBishop thinks or says?!!!!!! THAT OLD BAT SHOULD BE IN PRISON FOR STEALING.

hAAAAA!!! Its because were a BLOODY PARIAH!!!!!!! Australia IS THE NEW FILTH IN THE WORLD. Muck and coal and corrupt.

Hahaha ohh man that’s incredible.. Sweden the same country that let in unvetted refugees and now has a violent rape epidemic where foreign “refugees” are raping the local swede woman on mass!! How their ancestors must be turning in their graves.

Courageous leadership, Sweden.

So what it's a non event

Go away Bronny.

Sky's minister for dementia and socialism conspiracies has been let out again I see 😂 😂 😂

Who? Why do you give her air time?

Tell me why you have this person as a commentator on your channel?

Self Protection maybe. Swedish Central Bank see risk to capital. Overblown Housing bubble Interest rate below worthless Drying Continent Drought Rivers drained by water thieves Aged care Abuse Economy failing Tax collection from Multinationals Massive Debt Rain forest Burning

Does anyone care what she has to say?! She should go back to what she does best - rorting the system!

Sweden has just cost itself a king's ransom. Imports of Australian metallurgical coal will see their steel industry continues though. Hmmm.....but why should we?

Hey in your helicopter and bugger off. You still don’t learn

She’d know about protectionism, as she collects a large government pension. Remember when she misused tax payers money to rent a helicopter. We remember. Think it’s about time you gave this old bat the flick.

Bronwyn Bishop Corrupt trash.

Well, she would say that. ClimateCrisis ClimateActionNow auspol

I just hope Sweden sold those bonds back to Australia at a discount price. The governments of Australia over the past 40 years have been selling and giving away the hard earned wealth of country. Soon the larder will be bare !!

Bronwyn of helicopter fame? A woman of such integrity then I must take notice! Hasn't this 'news for morons' lot got anything actually worth reporting?

Although Sweden is a small player their actions could cause other countries to sell our bonds. This will hurt Australia. Socialists from everywhere are destroying countries. The NWO is succeeding in their objective. Control the young as they will them in eventually

Ban the import of Volvo vehicles then !

It is more like a globalist Government punishing a non conforming state

Silly old woman

Sky News and it's host of presenters from the right with no scientific background at it again. Go figure. Take a helicopter there Bronwyn and see for yourself.

Their Nationals before the migration are suppressed into submission by EU & UN laws. Obey & do not rebel laws.

Sanctimonious hypocrisy

Why bother with her views. Meaningless.

Are the dumping Chinese and Indian Bonds then? The real perpetrators! ClimateEmergency

Yeah but, they're only a small country - as if they're actions would have any affect globally. 😒

No it’s really the rest of the world showing their disgust at our governments lack of action...is she too stupid to work that out?

Liberals loving that Free Market.

Gov of Sweden needs to chat these fools about properly investing their country's money. Did not however define what 'good' looked like (as if the highest per capita investment in unreliable energy and on track to meet our Paris commitments was not enough)

NWO NWO NWO

Maybe Sweden should be more concerned with their Islam problem hey PeterSweden7

The home of Thunderg & her childish climate insanity is as crazy as she is. The government is made up of the socialist party, Greens & another left wing party which explains everything you need to know and with a population of just over 10 million they are only a small player.

Sweden should be doing more about being the rape capital of Europe and not dabbling in economics to lose another financial partner. Those burning cars and no go zones are fun though you must be so proud of the constant explosions and riots!

My compost bin has more insight.

AStrongerOZ Yes, Sweden's per capita public debt is 50% higher than Australia's. All this woke rubbish from them is coming home to roost. Civil unrest from immigration just to name one. We will survive just fine without their woke bond sell off. For every sale there is a buyer. CYA Sweden🦘

We not interested in what Sweden is selling.

Sweden is a unhappy place at the moment run by elites

Wotever🤣

You mean this leaner.

Let them sell off. Sweden bonds are junk. Their lefty policies will have their hands out at EU hq before too long

But then again, who gives a flying f*** what Bronwyn Bishop thinks.

Tell them to lodge their complaint with God, or the Sun, either way, they are responsible not us. I'm gonna go with maybe they should relocate to higher ground.
