Prime Minister Scott Morrison has revealed his government is preparing to enter the “suppression phase” in dealing with the deadly coronavirus pandemic in Australia. In front of a press conference in Canberra on Friday, Mr Morrison said the National Cabinet is "very focused" on the road ahead and signalled a change of tack as the government prepares to move into the approach for addressing COVID-19.
