Rugby World Cup organisers are bracing for a "Super Typhoon" that could wreak havoc across Japan and potentially result in the cancellations of crucial games that could see the Wallabies avoid England in a quarter-final and have major implications for other tier-one nations.

World Rugby is monitoring the situation closely but would receive major backlash if a natural disaster, which is a regular occurrence in Japan, was to mar the final weekend of competition. Rugby World Cup rules state that in abandoned matches both teams split the four points, taking two each. However, if Wales won with a bonus point over Fiji, the best the Wallabies could hope for is to be tied on points with Wales if there is a typhoon but even then Warren Gatland’s side go through on a countback because they defeated Australia 29-25. If Wales lost to Fiji, Australia's chances of finishing first increase significantly.

If Scotland (5 points currently), can claim nine points (the equivalent of a win and a bonus point win) in their next two matches, Ireland (11 points) could be booted out of the World Cup if they split the points in their last pool match against Samoa on Saturday in Fukuoka City.

tomdecent geerob Maybe it will add a bit of excitement because it’s been sh** so far with so many crap teams playing the pool stages. As hard as they try, rugby is only played by a handful of countries. Expanding to 20 is either a greedy cash grab or pure desperation.

tomdecent geerob just give the trophy to NZ and move on

tomdecent geerob This really isn’t that important

World has turned its back on the poor and the sickComment: Despite their mistakes, the previous generation of global leaders helped save millions of lives by funding health programs. Today, that type of leadership is gone Since 2013, The Morrison Govt has listed more than 2,100 new or amended items on the PBS. spent $10.6 Billion on Medicine This stands in stark contrast to Labor, which had to stop listing lifesaving medicines on the PBS because they couldn’t manage the Budget 2011 Don't glorify them yet. What did they think they were going to do with all the extra people, their descendants, and their descendants' descendants? (Or, is that redundant?) Those 'millions of lives' turned into BILLIONS of lives and caused the problems of today's world.
